Meet Jo Jo!

Rescued from a neglectful owner where she and her littermates were left to their own devices in a backyard, she stood out immediately when we first met her. Such a rough start for some of the sweetest dogs we've ever encountered. Jojo immediately became a volunteer favorite because of her extraordinary happy attitude and her love of meeting new dogs made her a sure candidate for our 2nd Chance Dog Program at a local prison. For the past 3 months this this love-a-bull pup brings joy to several inmates each day as a steadfast companion, teacher, student, friend and an important responsibility. Our 2nd Chance Dog Program pairs shelter dogs with inmates for a mutually beneficial experience, preparing them both for the road ahead.

As for Jo Jo, she may be the wiggliest dog you ever meet. She might also be the sweetest. At 1 year old and 60 lbs Jo Jo is playful, fun, and great with other dogs. She is good with kids, very smart and loves to learn. Would do really well with active people and likes being social. She's still a puppy at heart and would love nothing more than to sit in your lap to gently kiss your nose. She is a true wigglebutt kissbull.
