LOCATED IN HOUSTON, TEXAS

MEET TESS!--A beautiful 3 year old, chocolate F1B Labradoodle girl looking for a new forever home. She is 55 lbs and she has a soft mixed wool/fleece non-shedding coat that will require grooming.

Tess was rescued from a local kill shelter last year where she had been dumped by her former owners. She was so matted and neglected when she arrived, she could barely move and had to be shaved down to the skin and treated for various parasites. Tess recovered and became the beautiful girl we always knew she was destined to be. She was adopted by a wonderful family and has been living in her current home as an only dog for a year now. But she is having some issues as the only dog in this environment and is once again looking for a new forever home.

Tess loves every human that she meets. She's a people focused dog and social butterfly. She tends to stick close to her humans and loves to give kisses and to be snuggled. Tess is great with most other dogs. In fact she needs to have canine company and cannot be alone. Tess suffers from separation anxiety when left alone and will become panicked and eventually frantic. She cannot be crated unless she is in a room with other crated dogs and can be destructive when left all alone.

Tess has a strong personality and has been through quite a bit in her life. She really needs a patient, dog-experienced adult home and would be happiest in a home where someone is around for most of the day. She must have another well-mannered male dog or "dogs" of similar size for company. But she seems to have issues with other dominant females. She is a wonderful and beautiful girl who just needs the right family and home situation.

Tess is completely house-trained, is great on a leash, great in the car and is well socialized with humans and most other dogs. Again, she has a strong personality and will occasionally challenge some other dominant females and is better with male dogs or submissive females. She has not been exposed to cats.

Tess is spayed, micro-chipped, UTD on all vaccines and preventatives and she will be a wonderful addition to the right family.

A physical fence is required.
