Danna is the pup who lives life to the fullest. ~~*~~ She loves her foster brother, Early who is often on the defense of her sneak attacks when Danna feels they are overdue for a session of hard play and run. Danna also loves to hunt whether it is a snake (real and imagined), a mole, or even just a fly in the air, Danna is on the case. These are just a few examples of Danna and her zest for life. ~~*~~ Because of all the energy Danna has in her compact body, this foster mom decided to put her in an agility class to see how Danna would do with the physical and mental demands of the sport. After 8 weeks it was decided that Danna is a natural. She has really demonstrated the natural athleticism the sport requires. There isn’t anything Danna won’t try while on the agility field! Those interested in Danna may want to continue with this wonderful sport. ~~*~~ There are a few “must haves” for Danna: Danna is a pack dog. She loves to play and will need another young dog to play with. Danna is in need of some focus. Whether it is agility, obedience, or rally; she needs something to do and learn. Danna also will need some room to run flat out every day. She currently lives in the country on 5 acres of space. Some knowledge of the Basenji breed would also be a benefit to anyone interested in adopting Danna. ~~*~~ Danna is crate trained. She is fed in her crate each day and will settle down after eating dinner. We do not require her to sleep in her crate as she prefers to sleep on the floor in the bedroom. She is completely housebroken. She is up to date on all her shots and is on tick, flea, and heartworm prevention. Danna currently lives north of Raleigh, NC.
