McKayla and McKenzie Basenji Madison, AL

McKayla and McKenzie, fondly nicknamed Greenie and Red by their foster family were rescued from a kill shelter in Florence, Alabama.  They are whimsical, love life, and love to be held and to cuddle with humans.  They have been living with a smaller dog and a larger dog and get along well with both.  They are very quick to learn commands; they learned “sit” within a matter of days and are eager to please!  They have been crate trained since they have come to live with their foster family, travel well in the car, and are good around children.  Both Greenie and Red are up to date on their shots and have been spayed.

 Message from Greenie and Red:

We are 9 month old sisters and we are about 35 pounds each.  We have spent our whole lives together so we are very close and cuddle together all night while we sleep.  We run around and play with each other, even sometimes doing somersaults!  We love to sunbathe in the grass on a sunny days and we have soft, sleek black and white coats that will require minimal grooming, if any.  When we are outside with our human friends, we will run around and play with you but when you sit down, we will both try to fit in your lap for cuddle time.  If we aren’t cuddling, we will be covering you with our kisses!
