Meet Reba

Reba is a complete sweetheart who loves everybody. When she sees people, she wags not just her tail, but her whole back half, and gives them a big grin. She's full of energy, but also very cuddly and will lick your face and sit in your lap if you let her. Reba is very smart and learns new tricks fast. She has completed a basic obedience course and has her Canine Good Citizen (CGC) certification. She also knows a few tricks, offering a paw and rolling over.

Reba is a pit bull, approximately 2 years old, and she weighs about 60 pounds.

Reba is housetrained, and can spend 8-9 hours in her crate without any accidents. She will go into her crate when told and does fine there when alone. She doesn't do as well being crated or closed up when people are around, and tends to bark a lot if she can hear people or other dogs when confined. But, other than being alone, she's pretty much unfazeable. Loud noises or things falling don't seem to startle or bother her at all.

Reba is an energetic dog, who likes running, jumping, and playing. She loves to fetch, although she doesn't always want to give the ball up right away, instead wanting to run around and show it off. She would do well in a household that can take her jogging/running a lot, or can play fetch and let her run around a lot.

She loves other dogs. She goes to doggie daycare two or three times a week and gets along well with all the dogs there. She does sometimes like to play rough, and might be too much for an older or timid dog. The staff at doggie daycare say she does adapt her play for smaller dogs. She's learning to leave cats alone but still sometimes tries to play with or chase them and should probably not be left around them unsupervised. She continually confuses our cats by play bowing to them.

She seems to do fine with children and is very tolerant of them and happy to be petted, but would probably be too bouncy and excitable for little kids.
