Kimmie is a baby kitten with a calm, sweet temperament. She and her brother Toby (who she adored and mothered) and 5 other siblings were found outside by a friend of the shelter. All of the other kittens, including her love Toby, have recently departed for their forever homes. We are not sure why Kimmie was left behind - she is one of the cutest (and is the staff favorite)!! Kimmie enjoys her warm bed, toys, and the occasional treat. She loves to be petted and would enjoy spending time with you in quiet chatter. Just a tad shy, she will warm up to you quickly. With a little help to overcome her shyness, this little girl will become a loving addition to your family and bring lots of joy.

All cats and dogs are spayed or neutered, vaccinated with rabies and distemper according to age, tested for diseases such as feline leukemia, feline AIDS, and heartworm, and also provided with a de-worming and flea medication. These procedures can save an adopter about $300! Another benefit to adoption is that you have the support from the adoption staff if problems arise with your newly adopted pet.

The shelter will give you a discount coupon to pick up supplies for your new pet at the local pet supply store, Four Your Paws Only and a certificate to get a free first exam at one of the shelter’s local veterinary hospitals. To get started, just complete an adopter survey:
