Max is a 2 1/2 year old male long-haired German Shepherd. His owners were moving and didn't pack Max's bags, so he ended up at the city shelter. Max was very timid and scared when he first came to us in October, and also had a raging case of pneumonia, which he is fully recovered. Once he was feeling better, he really came out of his shell and become a playful, fun-loving and silly dog. Not only is he breathtakingly beautiful, but he has an equally sweet disposition. He definitely lacked training and discipline in his former life, and needs to learn to mind his manners. He will need a firm, experienced owner who will step up to the plate and help him blossom into the spectacular dog we know he can be. He will be adopted only to a home with prior German Shepherd experience. Please contact Jeannie at toomanyshepherds@aol.com for more info.
