My Ideal Family:The ideal family would be one that has someone home part of the day. Angelica has had a hard life so far so it would be great to have company for her through the day. Someone that works from home or is retired would be perfect. Another playful dog would be good to teach her what being a dog is all about. Angelica would make a great therapy dog.

My Story: came from Red Lake Rosie's rescue on the Red lake Reservation. She was in a hoarding situation with several starving dogs and cats. We are not sure what breed she is. We are guessing GSD and beagle, maybe corgi too.

Hobbies: Angelica is learning how to play with other dogs and dog toys. She walks great on a leash and loves to stroll the neighborhood.


Commands/Tricks: Knows sit, come, and down. Walks on a leash. Working on stay. Puppy classes would help her be the best pooch she can be.

Crate / Potty Trained:Yes on both but would not be happy being crated longer than 5 hours a day.


Activity Level: Medium Even though she is young, Angelica has medium energy. She will require some daily exercise.

Fun things I do: She loves belly rubs and any kind of attention from her people. She prances around when anyone new comes along and then flops over for a belly rub.

Socialization/who I currently live with: Currently lives with foster mom, teenage son, and resident springer. Other dogs come and go throughout the week so Angelica is exposed to many different dogs. She gets along with all of them.




Angelica iis attending Pet Haven's medium/large dog adoption events and his adoption fee is $350 (cash or check only) and includes spay/neuter, heartworm check, current vaccinations, and microchip and registration.
Due to post-adoption services provided, it is Pet Haven's policy to only place dogs into homes within a 60-mile radius of the Twin Cities area.
