JJ - pugapoo pup :) Pug & Poodle Mix McHenry, IL

JJ is a delightful mix of pug and miniature poodle with the best traits of both. Like most poodle hybrids, he is a gentle, affectionate and sociable fellow who gets along with kids, adults and other dogs. From the pug side, he has the underbite, comical cuteness and devotion to his people--he's happy to follow you around and "help" you with your tasks, and when you sit down, make room, because he is going to sit with you. His coat is between pug and poodle, a little wavy, with minimal shedding.




JJ is about a year old and 9 pounds. Still quite puppy-ish and full of mischief, he loves toys of all kinds and takes great joy in wrestling and romping with his canine buddies. He knows the "sit" command, is about 90 percent house trained, and is good on the leash. He has shown no aggression of any kind.




JJ tolerates the crate but would be happiest with folks who are home a lot to keep him company. He'd be a great dog for a family seeking an adorable little livewire that will keep them laughing. JJ of course is neutered and up to date on vaccinations including rabies, distemper/parvo and bordetella. He also has been dewormed, heartworm tested and microchipped. His fee of $250 helps cover our expenses--any donation beyond that helps us help more animals.
