Sophie Terrier Mix Riverdale, NJ

This young mom is finally ready for her own new home. She is about 1 to 2
years old and will fill in to just about 20 lbs. Sophie loves to play
with her toys, and goes to bed with them, too. She follows her foster
mom around the house, and tends to sneak onto the bed in the middle of
the night. Sophie eventually gets along with other dogs in the house,
but does need time to get to know them. She may do better in a home
where she is the only dog, but that isn't necessary. Sophie is crate
trained, but still needs some work with her house training. She has come
a long way in her leash training in just a few days, and knows to sit
for her meals and treats. Sophie is very gentle with the humans in her
home. She is not happy when locked in her crate, but she does tend to
cry rather than bark, and quiets down when told to do so. Sophie needs a
home where her family will take the time to see she is fully trained.
Once she gets through the basics, she will make a wonderful family pet.
