Meet Hunter

Meet Hunter! He recently came to the shelter when his owner passed away.
He exhibits the kind of affection you might associate with a cat who would be the first to find a happy home! Yet, he just hasn’t been picked. Perhaps we need to say more about this sweetheart.

Hunter is impossible to resist when he reaches out to you with his paw to get some attention! He gives the biggest head butts and kisses, loves to be petted and will rub his face into your hand. He is just an all around great kitty!

Hunter is a bit shy in his new surroundings, but his fears are completely dispelled if you give him a hug! He would love nothing more than to find a forever home where he could enjoy quiet evenings, just cuddling and receiving chin rubs now and again. He purrs up a storm when petted, has an adorable meow and is an extremely affectionate, friendly guy who would be appreciative of a loving home. Come meet this handsome fellow sporting stunning emerald eyes!

Love this cat but not ready to add another pet to your family? Did you know about our Kennel Sponsor Adoption Program? Sponsor all or part of this adorable cat's $90 adoption fee to help him/her get a forever home faster!!! Just email us at info@conwayshelter.org for details.

All cats and dogs are spayed or neutered, vaccinated with rabies and distemper according to age, tested for diseases such as feline leukemia, feline AIDS, and heartworm, and also provided with a de-worming and flea medication. These procedures can save an adopter about $300! Another benefit to adoption is that you have the support from the adoption staff if problems arise with your newly adopted pet.

The shelter will give you a discount coupon to pick up supplies for your new pet at the local pet supply store, Four Your Paws Only and a certificate to get a free first exam at one of the shelters local veterinary hospitals. To get started, just complete an adopter survey: http://www.conwayshelter.org/pubs/cat_adoption.pdf

Adoption saves lives and we appreciate that you are considering the adoption of a cat in need!
