Ruby Pit Bull Terrier Mix East Hartford, CT

Ruby is a 1 year old spayed female Pit Bull Terrier mix. Ruby Dooby Doo, how sweet are you! This sweetie was pulled from the local urban streets by a concerned rescuer. She has been very well trained, and knows her proper, loose-leash walking. She enjoys playing fetch and “hunting” her toys with our volunteers. She is an absolute love…she adores the attention from people, and loves to be handled. Typical of the Pits, she is loyal, intelligent, affectionate, and aims to please her people. She is sweet and gentle to the other POA dogs, and generally, once she gets to know and trust another dog, she is very accepting of them. She currently enjoys walks beside other POA dogs, and she does fine. She is an energetic dog, but very much in control of herself. As much as she likes to play, she knows when it’s time to settle down. She sits very patiently while she awaits her walks, and isn’t reckless, wild, nor destructive. She really enjoys her walk, and views it as though it were her “job” to move along and march in-step with you.
