Meet Hope

Hi! My name is Hope! I was rescued just in time. I was living in an abandoned building, taking care of 5 tiny babies. I was giving them all I had and slowly becoming skin and bones. Thankfully someone saved me and my five puppies. We are all healthy, happy and ready to find homes of our own now. My puppies are named Sookie, Xena, Eevie, Wyatt and Cowboy – all friendly, loving puppies. I am a smart dog who loves people. I am housetrained and crate trained. Please give me a chance. I never want to be homeless again.

Apply today or come meet dogs, cat, puppies and kittens at our adoption events on Saturday, September 24th. We will be at Caribou Coffee,1413 West 14 Mile Road in Madison Heights, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and at My Hero Dog Training, 3181 Walnut Lake Ct in Commerce, from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Find your new best friend - dogs, cats, puppies and kittens available for adoption! Scentsy sale and supply and fund drive to benefit the homeless animals of Paws for Life. Give a homeless pet the best gift ever - a family to love and a home for life!

Adoption Process:
Complete the application at the link above or send an email to info@pawsforliferescue.org to tell us which pet you're interested in and we'll send you a questionnaire that will help us make the best match for you and your new pet. We then arrange a location, date and time for you to meet some pets. If the meeting goes well and everyone is happy, you begin the two-week adjustment period with the pet as part of your family. This is a pending period to give your dog or cat time to adjust to their new home, new people, new routine, etc., and for you to decide if it's a match and the right pet for you. At the end of two weeks (some people extend the adjustment time as needed and that's fine too), if everyone is happy, then we finalize the adoption. Feel free to email if you have any questions.
