Taffy Chihuahua Mix Houston, TX

Are you looking for a little dog with a big personality? Look no further. Taffy has no idea she is a tiny little dog. We are pretty sure she thinks she is a Great Dane. Taffy is one of those little dogs with personality plus. Taffy was rescued from BARC. It was one of those times when we went to get one dog and ended up taking 2 because we just could not leave one behind! Taffy developed a bad type of mange called demodex when she was young. It caused her to lose all of her hair! But she never lost her spunk. The mange is gone but sadly left her with some permanent scarring. Some of her hair will never grow back. We've confirmed with the vet that the mange is TOTALLY gone....but there was just too much damage in some areas. But you know, Taffy does not care at all about her bald spots and we hope some great person out there won't care either! Taffy is about a year and a half and loves to play. She loves other dogs and probably the biggest thing you would have to watch with her is that she would run up to any other big dog without any fear. Taffy is also great with children. She has been fostered with a toddler for quite some time and we've been amazed at her patience with a playful 2 year old who is not always as gentle as she should be. Taffy has been spayed and has had all of her shots. She is also crate trained and would do fine in an apartment situation. Email us if you would like to meet her!
