Meet Abbey

Abbey is a former Pup Squad Momma Dog. We're guessing her breed is Lab/Flat coat retriever and she is about the sweetest girl ever. Abbey was found delivering puppies in a ditch. She originally came to Pup Squad in 2011 and returned to us in 2019 as her family could no longer care for her. Her mom couldn't say enough good things about her. Her favorite thing about Abbey "how great she is with my daughter." Abbey is one of our few "senior" dogs as she is about 10 years old and she weights about 60 pounds.

Abbey is very affectionate, sweet and gentle. Abbey loves people and gets along very well with other dogs. She's also very smart and walks nicely on a leash, although she's an older girl, so she is very happy to lounge on the couch or on the dog beds.

Abbey is house broken, crate trained heartworm negative and up to date on her shots.

Our adoption fee is a $250.00 donation to Pup Squad Animal Rescue. Our adopted dogs are all spayed/neutered, vaccinated and micro-chipped. If you are interested in adoption, please go to www.pupsquad.org/adopt to read more about our policies and find our application. Applications should be submitted to adoption@pupsquad.org or via the online form.

We are happy to transport our dogs out-of-state as we have lots of experience doing this and love to see our dogs to the best homes possible! We will assist with the whole process to getting your new pet to you. Feel free to email us regarding availability or any other questions. Please remember all breed estimates are just that...estimations based on our experience.

NOTE: We will only do transport if the dogs are 4 months of age or older as this means they are fully vetted and spay/neutered at this age and ready for transport.

Thank you for choosing to rescue an animal in need!
