April  is a sweet (though somewhat heavy) female kitty. She is a real “rescue kitty”, as her previous owner didn't want her anymore and took her to the vet to be euthanized. The vet refused to do it because she was perfectly healthy and sweet and asked  FCRT  to find her a new home.  She  is extremely friendly and a talker. She will find all manner of telling you about her day... and anything else you want to know. She does like the feeding dish, so...

The vet refused to do it because she was perfectly healthy and sweet and asked  FCRT  to find her a new home.  She  is extremely friendly and a talker. She will find all manner of telling you about her day... and anything else you want to know. She does like the feeding dish, so that needs to be managed (and a bit of exercise wouldn’t hurt, either). She is still quite active in spite of her age and size.  She loves her brush and even gives it kitty kisses.  She would do well as an only cat. We are not sure how she would do with other pets but a quiet, calm furry companion that is properly introduced would probably be OK.
