Meet Shayla

Shayla is a friendly young girl who wagged her tail at the people, at the cats, and at the other dog who was in the lobby when she arrived. She let the staff do anything they wanted with her, including her shots and her worming and even rubbing medication on her irritated skin, without complaint. Actually, she rather enjoyed the attention. She seemed a little hungry when she arrived, and she found the cat food on the counter and helped herself. The shelter worker proceeded to fit her for a collar and put it on her while she ate, so she certainly isn't food aggressive. The folks who brought her said she was a stray, but she seemed to know them. Shayla is about 10 months old and weighs about 35 pounds. She's pretty and smart and loveable. This girl deserves a good home and someone who will love her!
