Honey Domestic Short Hair Boston, MA

Honey came to Gifford Cat Shelter from another local shelter where she had been for sometime. While there, she hung out in one of the staff member's offices. Here is what that person had to say about Honey:

"Honey is a sweet and friendly girl who just likes to be near you. She would sit patiently next to me as I worked in my office, and she would even lick my face when I would lean toward her to say hello! She is part personal assistant, part best friend and her company and gentle presence were a welcome addition to my day. When playing, she would give gentle love bites (they were not painful in the least) when she had enough. I appreciated her telling me that and she seemed to appreciate my getting the message. She definitely enjoys the feather on a stick game and likes to wind down with a treat or two once she's tired out from playtime. The best was when she would settle in for her afternoon nap in my chair and be sprawled out on her back. It was adorable and made me want to take a nap, too :)"

Honey is a large adult cat who just seems to like everyone. She is laid back around the other cats so would do fine as an addition to a home with another feline resident. She's quickly winning hearts here at Gifford, but we are all rooting for her to find her forever home soon!
