Jade is a chesapeake bay/lab retreiver mix who the vet thinks is about two years old. Jade is just as beautiful on the inside as she is on the outside. She and her 5 puppies were rescued from being put down at the shelter. She just has such a sweet personality. Once you meet her, you will understand for yourself why we all love her so much.  She came into our program after being diagnosed with heartworms. She was in really bad shape, both physically and emotionally. At the same time, she was trying to raise 5 puppies on top of all of her health problems. She would drop her head when you went to pet her like she didn't think she was deserving of the attention. It was just heartbreaking to see her do that. She was extremely thin due to having the heart worms and also nursing the puppies. You could literally count every one of her ribs.  At this time though she has come through the heart worm treatments with flying colors. With proper health care and love, she has just blossomed!  Her coat has come back in soft, thick, wavy and luxurious. We are so happy that Jade is healthy now and ready to find her forever home. She plays with her foster family of dogs and even likes to play with her humans now. She just has a very sweet, lovable, and gentle disposition to her.  She will tolerate cats if you ask her to, but she isn't too crazy about them. Jade is very gentle with kids and other dogs. If you are looking for a special addition to your family, then you MUST meet sweet Jade. We will try to post more photos of Jade asap.

Also, if applicable please have all landlord/rental contact information available as you will need it to fill out the application.
