Within hours of her scheduled euthanasia at Lake County Animal Care and Control, Summer, a former stray, was rescued by Harvest Home Animal Sanctuary in July 2011.This three-year-old girl is exceptionally gentle and composed. She can't wait to find a mom, dad or family who will spoil her. Summer is a little picky about her new home requirements. Tennis balls are Summer's best friends. But, she is fearful of fellow canines. Summer is enjoying her daily canine training exercises. She is an exceptional student in "Good Dog 101". Plus, she's crate-trained. Every girl needs a canine cave!
