Franco is a male, 3-year old Shih Tzu weighing 18 lbs. He is being fostered by SNIPSA in a home in San Antonio after he was rescued from San Antonio's Animal Care Services in early June, 2011. Franco had suffered severe neglect. His coat was very matted and he was infested with fleas and ticks. Because of this, large patches of his hair fell out and his skin became infected.
After being cared for in loving foster care for awhile now, Franco is a new dog! His hair is growing back in beautifully and he has no more skin problems! Franco is well on his way to being his gorgeous self again! He is a WONDERFUL and lovable little companion and friend! He is totally housebroken and knows how to use the pet door in his foster home. He will follow you everywhere and be your BEST friend! He loves playing in the yard with dogs of all sizes. He is a wonderful little dog and definitely deserves a second chance at a wonderful...
