Some dogs look so sweet that everybody overlooks their failings but this is not true for poor Jiggs. Jiggs is as close to an angel as we have found, and yet his tough-guy looks stop potential adopters from even looking at him twice. So what makes Jiggs so special? Is it that when he arrived he was shy and submissive and crawled on his belly trying to please the handlers? Is it how he not only knows his commands but does them at lightning speed to make his handlers proud? Or that the only command he finds impossible to follow is stay because he cannot bear to be that far away from someone who has shown him affection. Jiggs has no time for toys or interest in fellow canines at least not when there are humans to be adored and lavished with love. Does Jiggs have any shortcomings? Well of course no one is perfect. This healthy two-year-old has been at the shelter since June 2011 offering nothing but love and devotion to everyone he meets; it is time for someone to look beyond the scars on his pit-bull face and give Jiggs the chance he so craves and deserves.
