And now a few words from me-

I am such a happy pooch! My foster mom says that I've come a long way since she took me in. All I know is that I feel safe now and I can enjoy chasing squirrels, playing with my ball, and meeting new dogs in the neighborhood. I love going for walks, and I hope that my new family enjoys being active and playing with me. In the evenings, I like to be mellow and relax on the couch with a bone to chew.

And now a few words from my foster mom
Kassie had a rough start to life. She was thrown out of a vehicle and was in pitiful shape when we took her in. But Kassie has made such a transformation in just a short time. Her personality has really shone through in last couple of months. She is a funny, sweet, playful, and quirky dog who just loves everybody. Kassie especially loves children. Even though she does not live with children right now, she has spent a lot of time with them and is very gentle around them. Kassie loves all dogs, and I've often seen her submit to big dogs right away, rolling over to show her belly upon meeting them. However, Kassie does not live with dogs right now, so it is likely that she will show some food aggression at first if she goes to a family with dogs. With that said, I am confident that Kassie would do well in a home with other dogs, but would need time to adjust and learn the rules. Like any dog, Kassie will need time to adjust to her new environment after being adopted. But after some time, her new family will see what a wonderful pooch she is. Also, Kassie is crate trained and stays in her crate when we're not at home, and she automatically goes to bed in her crate at night time. Kassie is still in that young chewy phase, and we feel it is best for her safety and mental health to crate her while we're not home. Kassie will grow out of this phase, and I believe that she could be given more freedom to roam in the future. Kassie is house trained, and we're still working on commands like "sit", "down", etc, and to walk politely on a leash. Please e-mail me if you have any questions about Kassie at all: colinandjessica@live.ca. Kassie is the perfect family dog who just needs love!
