Kingston Doberman Pinscher & Labrador Retriever Mix Richmond, VA

Hello! My name is Kingston, a handsome lab mix that is about 10 months in age. I’ve had a very rough start to life and unfortunately I am currently bashful and shy when I meet new people or when I am in a new situation. Now don't get me wrong - if I am at my foster home where I know the surroundings and the doggies in the home - I am totally at ease and just a different dog than at the adoption stands (check my picture out laying on the couch, I don't think you can get any more comfortable than that). The adoption stand scares me a bit, there are lots of people and things going on. My Foster Mom and brothers are helping me to overcome my shyness but it will take me some time to get there. A home that knows that is what I need at this point in my life would be wonderful to have so I can continue building on my confidence and learning all these new things that life offers. They say I am super smart kido - very treat motivated. I am crate trained and pretty much housebroken.
