Pax Shepherd & Retriever Mix Minneapolis, MN

If there has ever been a dog with 9 lives, it is Pax. He was brought to the shelter with an arrow through him! Luckily it didn't touch anything life-threatening and the arrow was removed with no permanent damage. Though he may have had a rough beginning he could not be any sweeter. He's completely potty-trained and rarely barks.
While Pax does fine with the other dogs in his foster home, he would not mind being the only dog in the home either. He loves to have attention and will take it all if you let him! He likes to be loved and receive attention and affection and he has a deficit to make up for after all. He wants you to pet him for as long as you are willing and will sleep in your lap if you let him. He does enjoy chewing a bone occasionally or chasing a tennis ball and overall is a very easy-going dog.
Anyone willing to give Pax the attention he deserves will get a best friend in return. He'll always be at your side and greet you will a wagging tail every day. Pax is the perfect example of forgetting the past and looking forward to a better life. He'll be a loyal, loving, well mannered and dedicated companion!

Pax is around 65 pounds and is estimated to be 3-5 years old.
