This is Jack and Ginger. Jack showed up at our house a couple years ago. He has not been neutured. We think he was abused because sometimes he won't let us pet him or he flinches. He has come out of his shell a great deal and likes to be made on over. He loves hunting in the woods with Ginger, and going on walks with me when I walk some of the other dogs. He gets along well with the other dogs, but he LOVES Ginger!



My husband rescued Ginger from a busy roadway about a year and a half ago, and she gave us an unexpected Christmas present - 7 puppies! We found homes for all of them except Bella, who you saw in another email. Ginger has since been spayed. She is a Jack Russel mix and is probably somewhere between 4-6 years old. She is a definite cuddle bunny, just like her daughter, but her favorite past time is hunting in the woods with her best bud, Jack.



It is my hope that someone with a country setting and lots of woods could take these two together. I have never seen two dogs bond like these two. Jack sleeps inside in a crate at night and Ginger sleeps on a pillow. If her pillow is not next to Jack's crate, she will drag it over so she can sleep next to him.
