MacDuff West Highland White Terrier / Westie Rockaway, NJ

MacDuff is an adorable 10 year old male westie. He comes to our group with his housemate, a 6 year old female scottie named Missy (listed separately), when their family decided they didn't have time for them anymore.

We were initially looking to place them together, but in the foster home, they have just branched out from each other and get along just as well with other dogs, so we have decided it's OK to place him on his own.

MacDuff is a friendly guy and very easy. He's neutered, housebroken, and up to date on his vaccines, but he has something common in westies, called Dry Eye. This requires that he be given an eye drop in each eye twice a day. We have taken him to our eye specialist to test and verify this fact, so we will be looking for someone who is willing, able and can afford to do this for him, so he can be comfortable and keep his eye health. It really is an easy thing to do and he just stands there and lets you drop them in! Westies live long lives, so please don't think this guy is close to the end of his days. He's a great companion and anyone would love to have a dog like this. He would be great in a home with other dogs, as well. McDuff has no skin issues or allergies.
