This happy dog is Diego, a 10 month to one year old male shepherd mix. He has some cute tipped ears and a little bit longer than a smooth tan with some black coat. Diego is still all legs, weighing only 25 pounds and needs to fill out some, and will get to about 35-40 pounds. Diego is a peppy baby who loves attention and wants to play. He is content to sit in your lap and let you rub his tummy. Diego is working on his fetching abilities and going through standard commands, such as sit and stay. He would be better adaptable to a fenced-in yard with an energetic adult or with children over 5 yrs (because of his size). He gets along well with other dogs, but cats are still a mystery. Diego would probably need a lot of playtime and walking if he was in an apartment because he gets bored. We are working on identifying his favorite type of toys, but right now he is happy just to be a part of something. Diego is not crate trained yet, but he is a smart dog and will pick it up in no time. He is up to date on his vet care, neutered and is heartworm negative. Diego is on heartworm and flea/tick prevention. Come meet this happy go lucky dog and be ready to take him home with you!

Those ears! That smile! And his loving personality will steal your heart! Diego is a fantastic fellow. This boy is a real people pleaser and just wants to be around you but is not pushy. He never strays far from my side in unfenced sections of my yard. He gets along great with dogs of all sizes and sexes. He's a pretty submissive boy. He's also quiet and very sweet and docile. He takes toys gently from my hand. He is not a barker. He is very smart. He takes gentle correction easily and learns quickly. He's shown no interest in my cats so far. Overall, this little boy has just been a bundle of joy and seamlessly adapted into my busy household. He's a real gem. You can't go wrong with DIVINE DIEGO!!!
