 Brownie is a super handsome, 1 year old Pitbull mix. Brownie is good with dogs (including other males and small dogs!) and even cats! So he would do great in a home with other animals!

Brownie LOVES stuffed toys, but don't think he's going to make a huge mess of your house by ripping them apart, he just likes to carry them around! He also loves tennis balls! He likes to bat them across the floor with his paws or play fetch! Brownie also loves those sleeves that you can put empty plastic bottles into! The nice thing about Brownie is he will keep himself entertained if you give him his favorite toys!


Brownie is incredibly sweet, he loves attention and to play. He loves to 'talk' while he plays. Don't think he's a big goof though, Brownie is very mild mannered.

Brownie's favorite activity is to cuddle! He loves to lay at your feet or snuggle on the couch. He purrs, if you scratch him just right behind the ears. A word of caution though, if you're trying to hear your TV and cuddle with Brownie, hope the volume goes up high! This boy snores like a train! His foster family finds it endearing!

Because Brownie is so people motivated (he wants to make his people happy)he is doing great in doggie school and is doing very well with his 'homework' when training at home.


Brownie is a real trooper, he maintains his sweet and sunny personality, even though he's probably seen the meaner side of the human. We're not sure how he's managed to stay so sweet but we're very proud of him! And get this, Brownie is almost an obedience school grad dog! He has mastered 'Sit' and 'Stay' and has the concept of 'down' in the bag!

Like most shelter dogs, Brownie may need a refresher on housetraining. He is likely crate trained.
