I lost my home due to the tornado -- won't you let me into yours?



Meet Tiny Tim, a 7-9 year old male poodle. Timmy is small, weighing only 9 pounds and has a white coat and seems to be all legs! Timmy was surrendered to our local shelter due to his owner not being able to keep him after the tornado. He is a bit shy and nervous upon first meeting but will warm up to you. Timmy is just looking for a lap to lay in and soak up lots of love and attention. He seems to do ok with other dogs and should be ok with older children, not young ones due to his small size. Timmy must be an inside dog and would be fine in an apartment as long as he gets some nice daily walks. He is working on his crate training. Timmy is up to date on his vet care, neutered, and is heartworm negative. He is on heartworm and flea/tick prevention. Little Timmy needs a home where he will get lots of love and attention -- will it be yours?



Foster Home Update



Timmy is a great dog for someone. He has been with us a week and adusted very quickly. He likes other dogs, seems to be completely housetrained (goes to the bathroom like a girl!) and is very loving. He does not like crates, and it’s just not necessary for him. He hangs out in the kitchen and has a little bed he sleeps in. Lately I have taken his bed into my bedroom, set it on the floor, and he jumps right in!



Last night it was sprinkling and I was trying to make the little dogs go out to the bathroom. Most did not want to go but he ran right out-didn’t bother him at all! He is happy doing anything, and lately, when I let him outside, he runs real fast around the yard like he’s all excited-maybe he’s just getting used to being here! This one is pretty special and someone will be lucky to have him!
