William is such a gem! He will be turning 13 years young on August 1, 2011, and he would really, really love a new family for his birthday.  Sadly William lost his former family when his owner passed away suddenly leaving him without a home.  He was a very pampered pooch in his past life and enjoyed monthly grooms and yearly dentals, and it shows in the great condition - physically and mentally - that he is in. 

William is a spunky little fellow that enjoys his walks and is fantastic on-leash, but who also just wants a warm lap or pillow to curl up on. He enjoys the company of other dogs (big and small) and cats, and would be fine with older children who are respectful of his small stature and advanced age.

William is very responsible in the house, sleeps curled up on the human bed at night, enjoys car rides and trips to the beach, and is a really quiet, mellow, easy-going guy who loves to be with his humans and to go wherever you go. Give him a snuggle and somewhere to snooze, and he'll be a happy man. William has received a clean bill of health from the vet, is neutered and up-to-date with his vaccines. In short, William is in tip-top shape and ready for a new family! He comes with all of his vet records and his American Kennel Club paperwork from Ohio.

William may be senior in years, but he's still very young at heart and in mind, and still has a number of years left in him - after all, a healthy Yorkie can live into its late teens, and in human years William is only in his mid-60’s! Don't delay because this adorable gentleman is going to be snatched up quickly, and oh what a lucky family they will be!
