Meet Adopted! Slinky

Save Nine Lives... adopt a rescue cat.

SLINKY: From "feral" to friendly, Slinky was found living among a feral (wild) cat colony. The third picture on his profile shows you how he got his name. While feeding the Companion Cats' feral community cat colony we couldn't help but notice a cat that never walked... he slinked along the ground almost like he didn't have legs. I guess it was his way of trying to go unnoticed. We assumed Slinky was feral. Our goal is to keep the colony numbers to a minimum with the most humane method of feral cat population control, TNR (Trap/Neuter/Return). It wasn't until Slinky was trapped to be neutered that we discovered he was friendly or maybe he discovered we were not going to hurt him. He is now a resident of our spay/neuter clinic. It's amazing how friendly he is. He's very affectionate and likes to head-butt to grab your attention. His fur is so soft and he has the most beautiful green eyes. You really should take the time to come and say hello to Slinky.

For more information about beginning the adoption process please send a request to Dnewman0911@hotmail.com (269-963-1563) or MillersArk15@yahoo.com for an application or click here to complete our on-line application. Please understand, Companion Cats is made up of volunteers. Arrangements will need to be made to view our adoptable cats and kittens in person. We will need to coordinate with the foster care provider's busy schedule and your schedule as well. Our adoption fee is $50.00 per cat or kitten.

Thank you for your interest in adopting a rescue cat. Companion Cats is a 501(c)3 non-profit rescue organization.

Where do donations go? Donations give us the opportunity to spay/neuter and vaccinate more rescue cats and kittens. Stopping overpopulation is the key to ending the suffering of abandon homeless pets. (Donations are tax deductible in the state of Michigan.)
