Sage is a severe special needs kitty, but very adoptable to the right home. And to see him, is to LOVE him!

Sage has a condition called Cerebellar Hypoplasia (CH), and on a scale of 1 to 10, he’s about a 6 or 7. (Go to www.cat-behavior-explained.com/cerebellar-hypoplasia.html for a good understanding of this condition.) CH could loosely be called kitty Cerebral Palsy as cats wobble and stumble as they walk. However, CH doesn't affect Sage’s life span or his intelligence

Sage is a very handsome fellow clad in his formal tuxedo and is 4-5 years old. Sage is from a bad cat hoarding situation, and very friendly. At first, he was wary of being picked up, since he probably never got the chance to be held in his former home, but now he loves it and has a great big purr!

Sage is good about using his litterbox but he does tend to fall over in it, so will need occasional bathing and cleaning up. Sage probably needs a quiet home without small kids and without dogs as he is so shaky that he could not really run away if he was scared. He also shouldn't be in a home with access to stairs as he would not be able to navigate them without falling and would be much better off on carpet than bare floors.
