Meet Oozie

The Oozie Oozer is awesome! Just ask anyone who has met him! He is a HUGE bundle of love. Why the weird name, you ask? Well the Oozer was taken from a farm colony in July of 2010 becuase of a horrific wound to the side of his head and neck. Surgery repaired part of him, but part he just had to heal on his own. Flash forward to April of 2011 and he is just now totally healed and finally up for adoption. In between, well... that's how he got his name. (-: Oozie loves everyone and everything. He gets along with all the cats and never met a human he didn't like. And the Oozie talks. And talks. He is just a total riot. He went from an injured barn cat to a couch potato. He loves to sleep with his foster family and loves to lay on the couch in the sun. Oozie has tested positive for FIV. Please contact us. We would love to discuss FIV with you and talk about how these awesome cats can live long healthy happy lives with you and your other animals!

All of our cats have been spayed or neutered, vaccinated, de-wormed, microchipped, and tested for FIV/FeLV. Adoption fees: $50.

Our cats are shown by appointment. If you are interested in adopting or would like to meet our cats, please fill out our adoption application online at www.safehousepets.org/adopt and a volunteer will contact you promptly.
