Charlie Husky & Shepherd Mix Winston Salem, NC

Meet our own AARF TV star, featured on the news (see the link on our website www.aarfanimals.org). Charlie is a solid white neutered young male Husky mix, apprx. 1 & 1/2 year old. He is up to date on all shots & preventatives. He is crate trained and house trained. Charlie was rescued from a home that had allowed his collar to "in-grow"; this problem was addressed & he's now a happy, rambunctious boy who loves to run and play. He loves being with people and seems to do equally well with other dogs, especially if they're up for a good game of chase, tag or wrestling. Charlie ADORES water and seems happiest when he's paddling in his swimming pool, splashing rolling and just having a good time cooling off. But when he's finished playing he will come and lay beside his people and rest quietly while they pet him. He's a smart boy who knows how to sit and come, especially if there's treats involved. However, we do feel he'd do best in a home with experienced dog people who know how to both get & keep him focused on the things he needs to learn.
