Meet Flynn

Flynn is an adorable King Charles Cavalier/Pekingese mix. He's about 2 years old and weighs 12 pounds - he'll make a perfect pint sized companion!

Flynn is a fun loving, affectionate little guy who has discovered people can be a good thing. He came from a very difficult situation and has really blossomed. He gets along well with other dogs, and loves to play "chase" with them. He is doing extremely well with housebreaking and is quiet in his crate. A fenced yard is best for Flynn, as he spent his former life indoors. He now loves running and playing in his foster family's fenced play yard.

Flynn is sure to bring hours of fun into your life, and he only asks for a few simple things in return: yummy food, water, a nice cozy spot to sleep in, and most of all - lots of TLC!!!

****His adoption fee is $295.****

The Animal Rescue Project is committed to the best possible veterinary care for the pets it rescues—and it is looking for adopters who will be similarly committed.

All dogs and puppies are given a general check-up when they enter our program. They receive medication to remove any intestinal parasites (worms), fleas, and ticks they may have. Dogs greater than six months of age are checked for heartworm. If heartworm positive, the Animal Rescue Project treats the disease. Dogs and pups receive all age-appropriate vaccinations for distemper, and dogs greater than four months of age are also vaccinated for rabies, in compliance with State of Michigan laws.

Most dogs and older puppies are spayed or neutered before adoption. In the case of puppies not old enough to be safely sterilized, a $25 deposit is required at the time of adoption and is refunded to the adopter with proof of sterilization.

All Animal Rescue Project pets also receive a Home Again microchip prior to adoption and one month of free medical insurance. The Animal Rescue Project requires every adopter to establish an active relationship with a veterinarian no later than 10 days after adoption. Adopters will receive a plan for routine veterinary care at the time of adoption and are expected to work with their vet to complete the plan.
