Meet Chubby

Chubby is a beautiful three-year-old bunny who was surrendered by her family due to the daughter moving out of the country. She is the sweetest and friendliest bunny that has come our way in a long time. She loves to be cuddled and petted and is litter boxed trained. She is very active, and zooms around her room at the shelter when she is given time outside her cage. It was hard for our volunteer photographer to get photos of her, because as soon as he sat down, she jumped all over him, nibbled on his shoe and begged for attention. She will also swirl around your feet to get attention and acts more like a dog than a rabbit. She was spayed on May 11th and is now available for adoption. She will make a wonderful pet or bunny companion.

Rabbits are active, gentle pets that are happiest and healthiest when they have a large clean cage, lots of play time out of their cage, and plenty of fresh hay and veggies daily. All of the Medfield Shelter's bunnies are indoor pets and would not do well outside in a hutch. If you are interested in adopting a rabbit from our shelter, please fill out our adoption application
