Meet Tigger

Tigger is a beautiful, male, Flemish Giant. He came from a home where he was neglected and abused and as a result has some fear based/territorial behavior. In order to protect his space Tigger will chase after and bite feet and legs that move too quickly around him. His behavior is much better then when we first rescued him. Tigger needs a well experienced indoor rabbit home with someone who is willing to put in the time to help him with his behavior issue. Other then then the biting behavior, he is a very sweet and loving rabbit. He's very playful and loves a lot of attention and pets. Tigger is very large and cannot be housed in a cage. He needs a lot of space to run and play. He is 10 months of age and will get a little bigger. His approximate weight is 17 pounds. He cannot go to a home with children. Well experienced rabbit homes only need apply to adopt him. Tigger is currently in foster care.

Rabbits make wonderful indoor pets. They should NEVER live in a hutch in your backyard, especially in the Sacramento area. The summer heat is too much for them. Plus they'd get very lonely and bored . Rabbits are social creatures that should be part of the family. They are curious and smart and playful. They will bond with other rabbits, people, cats, and even dogs.
