Sweet Potato Tabby Willingboro, NJ

Sweet Potato was rescued by BCAA. He came into the Shelter as a stray with a severe bone infection. The Shelter asked for our help, and of course, we couldn't let this great kittie down. He was brought to the vet hospital immediately because he was in so much pain. Unfortunately, Sweetie had to have his leg amputed, to get him out of his pain. He did very well with the surgery, however, he came down with a severe upper respiratory infection and was in the hospital for two weeks on IV fluids and antibiotics for both infections. Sweet Potato is lucky to be alive, but he's a tough kittie and knew he had a bright future ahead of him. He is currently in foster care and has blossomed into an affectionate, happy and playful cat. He is only about a year old. It seems his missing leg doesn't affect his ability to jump on beds, climb steps and rough house with the other cats and dog in his foster household. Because his hospital stay was so expensive, BCAA is asking for help in paying his bill. Any donation will be so much appreciated.
