Most of our dogs are strays, so the breed is our best guess.




Please note that the first step is the application. Make sure before filling out an application that you have seriously considered adoption and have talked it over with all family members. Our approval process takes about a week and we expect that you adopt after that. We do not hold dogs. We also do not "sell" dogs. There is an approval process that applicants must go through prior to meeting the dogs.

Note: We do not adopt to families with children under the age of six and stick to this policy, as it is part of our insurance policy.

We also only adopt in WI & IL. At times we are able to work with people in the Minneapolis area.

Please also only to apply if you are ready to adopt now. We do not hold dogs or keep applications should a dog fit your needs in the future.





MY AGE: approx 2 yrs WEIGHT: 45 lbs WHERE I AM FROM: AL MY STORY: Tootsie ended up at an Alabama shelter where she had puppies. The family arrived in Wisconsin in May with the pups being one months old. Mama is just the sweetest gal. So gentle and patient. Very friendly. We all just adore this dog. We would love to see her with an active family with children. She deserves all the best life has to offer. UPDATE: Her pups are weaned and she went to a wonderful foster home on 6/17. She will be living with two doggie brothers. The shelter had named her Tootsie and we have been mostly calling her Mama. She will be ready to go home on July 12 after her spay.
