Meet Hunter

Hunter is a wonderful black lab mix pup, here is what his foster mom has to say about him "Hunter is probably the best foster puppy we've ever had. He's about 5-6 months old and 38 lbs. He's housetrained and will actually cry and go lay by the door when he wants to go out. He waits patiently for his food, but gets very excited. His tail goes non-stop throughout his entire eating experience. He has no issues at all that we can find! He's doing great with training; sit, come and off are mastered and we are currently working on down. He's great with other dogs and kids (he is currently living with a 10 year old and loves the attention of her and all her friends) and believe it or not, even seems to like cats! Hunter is so well socialized with other dogs that he would make a great dog for anyone interested in taking their dog to a dog park, neighborhood doggie play dates or family gatherings with other dogs. He was found in a rural MO elementary schoolyard with his two siblings and is now living with another dog. He sleeps well at night and sleeps through the night until you are ready to get up. If you are looking for a great puppy for your kids to grow up with or just a young companion to keep you company, Hunter is YOUR guy!"

ADOPTION FEE: $325.00 The adoption fee includes all age appropriate vaccinations including rabies, HW test if age appropriate, de-worming, microchip, fecal, spay or neuter, Heartworm and flea and tick preventative.

ADOPTION PROCESS: PLEASE READ CAREFULLY
The first step in the adoption process is to fill out an application online at www.placingpawsrescue.org.
Once we review the applications, those applicants that are thought to be a good match will be contacted as quickly as possibly. We ask that you please be patient with us as we are all volunteers. Then a telephone interview will take place, references checked and a home visit will be conducted. We will then arrange for you to meet the dog. We require that all family members, including current dogs meet the dog prior to adoption. We put all of the known information in the animals description. If the animal is listed on the website, we are still accepting applications for that animal. We only remove the animal when the final adoption paperwork is signed. The best way to contact us is by email at placingpaws@yahoo.com. It is very difficult for the limited numbers of volunteers to return all calls. Thank you.
