1-year-old Ruffin is a great cat--sweet, friendly and very active. He was rescued as a stray and then subsequently left in an apartment building hallway by his rescuers. He was unhappy living with the other cats in a foster home and didn't handle the stress well, so we think he'd be better off by himself or perhaps with just one other cat. We're hoping to find an experienced cat person who'll be able to tell if he's upset. You can meet him at our adoption center in the Petsmart on Broadway between Bleeker and Houston, though you should email adoptions@citycritters.org first to make sure he's still there. Adoption counselors are available on the weekends between 1 and 6.
