Meet Farrah
Meet Farrah! She is a 1-yr-old Lab mix pulled from a high-kill shelter in Ross County. Farrah came into the the shelter pregnant and they were frantically trying to find a rescue that would take her. By the time she was on our transport, she had given birth to seven pups! Sadly, five of her seven pups didn't make it past the first few days of birth. But she did successfully raise (now weaned) two pups (she was a very good mommy!) Her days of motherhood are behind her now and she is ready to go back to being a young, carefree dog! She is super-sweet, friendly, playful; good with other dogs and people. Farrah would require a totally-enclosed fenced yard so she can run around and burn off that youthful energy.
Her adoption fee is $175 and covers the cost of the dogs spay or neuter, vaccines, preventative medications, microchip and 30 day free trial pet insurance.
