Meet River

River is a two year old female chocolate lab. She was taken in as a service dog candidate by Buckeye Service Dogs, however, we have found that she's not ideal for this program due to her being uncomfortable around strange dogs.
River is obedience trained, house broken and will make a WONDERFUL PET. She is a bit suspicious and sometimes growls at dogs she does not know, but, once she knows the dog, they become great friends. It is unknowns how River is around cats. River would be good with older children. She was in a foster home with 7 year old twin girls and loved them. Activity wise, she's a five on a scale of 1 to 10. She loves nothing more than to follow you around the house and yard!
She has been spayed and is up to date on all her vet care. Adoption fee for River is $300 - which just covers our vet expenses for her.
