Nemo-ADOPTED Domestic Long Hair Pottstown, PA

This handsome little lion was found eating out of a dumpster in Pottstown. He was being fed by no one but was very friendly, clearly an abandoned pet. Although Nemo was emaciated and dirty when he came into foster care, he has now gained weight (a bit too much!) and looks great. He loves to be petted and will roll over. He likes to lie next to you on the sofa or in bed. He currently lives with other cats and dogs. He doesn’t mind other cats although he can get a bit jealous when they get attention over him. He is not a fan of dogs. He will coexist but if they come near him, he hisses and runs away. He tends to come out when they are asleep and will sometimes even sleep next to them! Nemo does not like to jump on counters. Even if you put him up on one, he will jump right down – that’s a plus!
Nemo is FIV positive. FIV is a cat disease that suppresses their immune system, however, FIV positive cats can live healthy, long lives. It is contagious to other cats by biting only. It is not contagious to dogs.
