"My name is Sadie. I can't wait to find a forever home with a canine buddy and a family who likes to be busy outdoors! I am so smart that I finished two levels of agility training, but I really didn't like working in the big loud warehouse with all the unexpected noises. I do LOVE working outside. I am amazing at catching frisbees and playing ball. My new family will think I am so pretty AND pretty talented!


Right now I live with a whole family of dogs and some cats too and I like them all, but I am looking for a family who can spend even more time with me.


I even can run next to a bike while on a lead - imagine that! I LOVE car rides, hanging out in the yard, and walking all the time with my foster mom and dad and the other dogs. My new parents will have to be patient with me because I am learning I don't have to be bossy at the door because the humans will do that job. They tell me to "leave it" or "go to your kennel" or sometimes just "shhhhh". I do have Shepherd in my blood, so protecting comes naturally to me.



I am house trained. I am perfectly able to do my business outside and I am fine when I have to use a crate. I LOVE my people. My foster mom says I have potential to be the most loyal, trainable companion anyone can find. Gosh, I think she likes me!


I would like it if my new home didn't have small children. A boy at my old home used to chase me and I'd get really scared, so I am learning to trust kids like my 10 year old friend, who doesn't ever chase me or act like she's going to hurt me.


I love it when people are meeting me if they just let me go over to them first. Reaching right for me makes me nervous - I LOVE it if one of my furry foster siblings goes first because then I know things are safe.
