Meet Maggie
Meet Maggie! She is a lucky dog who found her way to a good Samaritan who found her wandering in a neighborhood. When they located her owner, he said that he didn’t want her any longer. He’d wanted a hunting dog, and she was “not what he’d wanted” so he tethered her outside during her young life. Maggie is a 9-month old, beagle/boxer mix. She’s very submissive, and can be a bit sheepish. She is very gentle and loving, and is looking for a forever home with these same qualities. She’s great with young children, cats and dogs, and is great about sharing her food and toys. She would do best in a home with children or with another dog, since she craves companionship and love and also likes to wrestle. She is a smart girl and learned ‘sit’ and ‘down’ in a day. She’s mostly housebroken, and has slept crated at night.
Her adoption fee is $200 and covers the cost of the dogs spay or neuter, vaccines, preventative medications, microchip and 30 day free trial pet insurance.
