Grady Labrador Retriever & Shepherd Mix Asheville, NC

Grady is one awesome dog!!! He bonds strongly with people he trusts and is a great cuddler. He enjoys being a homebody. He is house-trained and well-behaved when left home alone. Grady is intelligent, playful and a fetch-a-holic. Grady loves playing fetch! He likes hikes in the woods better than strolls around town. He chills out in a car and would make an excellent traveling companion. He might prefer to be the only dog so he can get all the attention. Grady is a medium-large size dog, about 5 years old. Grady is looking for a home with a person or couple who are physically active, but have a more quiet social life. Come visit him in the shelter.

Visual breed identification of dogs has been proven to be unreliable, so for most of the dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each of our dogs as an individual and do our best to describe and place dogs based on personality not breed label.
