Jackson-URGENT Pit Bull Terrier & Boxer Mix Henrietta, TX

This is a courtesy post for Jackson, a pitbull mix in desperate need of re-homing. Jackson's person sent us the following message:

Jackson is a 65 lb. pitbull/boxer mix. He is neutered, mild mannered, and loves to be outside. I found this sweet doggy on my front door step about eight months ago. He is so sweet, lazy, and loves to snuggle. I wish I could keep him, but my lease agreement strictly enforces its "no dog" policy. We tried everything we could to negotiate and even hid him from the realtor, but it didn't do us any good, and now Jackson has to find a new home within the next week or so.
Most places we have called are full or aren't taking in any dogs. I want to make certain that he goes somewhere that will take great care of him.

Jackson would be a great fit for someone with no dogs (because he does not play very well with others) and someone that has older or no children (because he can be a little jealous).
