PF has added "no small children under 5 to the dog's bios & at this time, it cannot be changed. Animal Alliance's policy is that we do not adopt to families with children under 9 years.
NOTE: OZZIE NEEDS A SMOKE FREE HOME, HE HAS SLIGHT ALLERGIES & TAKES BENDRYl. OZZIE is a very small tan male Chihuahua that is about 5 years-old. He was totally discombobulated at the shelter and tended to hide in the corner. He would get momentary spurts of courage and come up to the front of the cage, but gets spooked easily and retreats to his bed. Once out of the shelter we noticed that he warms up quickly and likes to stand with his front feet on your knee. Proximity is the name of his game. Animal Alliance is teaching OZZIE to walk with more confidence on a leash. He does like to explore but seems as he was given little opportunity in the past. OZZIE adores being around people, although he might be a little reticent initially this soon fades. This little guy is smart and eager to learn. OZZIE will be thrilled to have the security that he dreams of and in return will give years of love in return.
This pet is spayed or neutered in accordance with our strict policy wherein all animals are altered prior to adoption. This pet is dewormed, current on vaccines, and started on monthly flea/tick preventatives.
